What the site stores
The preference tool can save one localStorage entry named sortsafariradarp-cookie-preference. Its value records either “essential” or “accept” on your current browser and site origin. It is not a unique visitor identifier and is not sent to a server by the supplied script.
LocalStorage differs from a cookie: it is not automatically attached to web requests. The saved choice has no automatic expiry in this implementation; it remains until you remove it, clear site data or your browser removes it. Private browsing and browser restrictions may prevent persistence.
Choose or remove a preference
No optional tracking runs in either setting on this static site. Selecting “Accept” does not provide blanket consent to future, unspecified tracking. New optional services would require appropriate disclosure and consent controls before activation.
Other local activity
The message tool uses in-memory form values and creates a clipboard entry or downloadable file only when you request it. It does not store your message in localStorage. Checklist ticks are temporary and are not deliberately persisted by our script; browsers may restore some form state independently.
Browser and external-site controls
You can remove this site’s stored preference through your browser’s site-data settings. Blocking storage may prevent the preference from being remembered but does not prevent reading the guide. Browser caches may retain page assets to improve loading; this is separate from optional analytics tracking.
